With God, All Things Are Possible

"Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name"

Bro. Dennis and Mrs. Carrie are expecting a baby, due December 10th.

I am overwhelmed.

Beautiful poem but I'm skeptical whether or not this is yours though.

The poem is not mine. I am quoting the lyrics of a song that has been a tremendous blessing to me in my life. I have mentioned it here on this blog before, and gone into some of the details of why it means so much to me.

The lyrics are by Matt Redman, I believe, and the song has been sung by various groups.

Praise the Lord for Dennis and Carrie's new little one. What a blessing!

These words have been such an encouragement to me through out the past few years. Especially the last part of the song:
"You give and take away,
You give and take away.
My heart will choose to say,
Lord, blessed be Your name."

Thank you for sharing,
Joshua
